Expectations

This semester I expect to be a tough one, but I'm going to to do my best to do as well as possoble. My major is Biochemistry to some of my classes are pretty hard. Chemistry 202 and Biology 105 are really going to be a challenge, but it's classes like my English class that give me a break from all the mind killing chem problems.
From my English course I expect to broaden my writing skills. I hope to make my papers flow better and have better ideas and thoughts put into them. I hope this class is able to give me a break from all the other boring textbook classes, and allow me to use other areas of my brain. I really like reading books, so reading The Zookeeper's Wife for a class has been nice so far.
From my English instructor I only expect good teaching. I think that if you have a good teacher who explains things thoroughly and is passionate about what he or she is talking about, that you can only do well in the class if you try. Oh, I guess I expect to have homework graded at a reasonable time.
For myself my expectations are high. I need to do well in this course, along with all my other ones, to maintain a high gpa. That means doing all my homework and readings on time and doing them well. I expect to study alot before tests come around so I am very prepared for them, and not cramming the night before. I don't just want to do OK in college, I want to succeed and do great. Afterall, it's only our future we are talking about.
